I've decided to abstain from alcohol for a while as recently I've managed to get myself in such a state it has ruined friendships. Things have been tough since Gem left me, even though I know it's for the best, I have felt very low at times and I have found it easier to go out and drink than sit alone at home where I do too much thinking.
But now it's time to get back to the old me, the sensible guy. I've got many plans for the year ahead, time to concentrate on those goals.

This week I'm going to purchase web-space again and start to build an online portfolio of my photography and hopefully get some work from it.

Glastonbury was a tiring gloopy mud bath this year so I didn't get to see much, I spent most of my time walking from one gig to the next as we had a few this year. The highlight of Glasto this year for me was Mahala Raï Banda, Gypsy Brass Band from Romania on the Jazz Stage.

Just got my 120 roll film back from the camera shop, cost me £8.81 for 10 photos, I won't be going there again!!

I've got a slide film in the camera at the mo, can't wait to see how they come out!!

It's been a few months since I moved out of Montpelier over to Totterdown and it's changed my life, it's nice and quiet 99% of the time by the park with no prostitutes and dealers outside my door. I do miss being close to stuff thats going on. But it's a small sacrifice for a good nights sleep.

.... September last year was the last time I posted a Blog, a lot has happened since then, I almost moved to Scotland to live with my girlfriend who moved to the most remotest place you could imagine, but after 3 months, she decided to come back to Bristol. This is a photo I took in the woods behind her house.
She stayed in Bristol with me from New Years for a month and then headed home to West Wales to decide on what she wanted to do with her life. She's now in London until September working in the Environmental sector. I'm very proud of her but miss being around her all the time as I only get to see her on weekends and at the mo, every other. It's tough, but she means a lot to me.
